It is compatible with a variety of commercial Real-Time Operating Systems and comes with running OS and a variety of software drivers.

The OBC features on-board gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetic and temperature sensors. It uses a FreeRTOS-based operating system with Cubesat Space Protocol (CSP), AX.25, and KISS. The OBC also comes with an example source code included.

The OBC uses a mixed-signal, FRAM memory, and an ultra-low power 16bit RISC-based MCU. It has a capacity of up to 16Mbit external FRAM for data storage. The OBC comes with an internal and external watchdog for added reliability. It has a 256Kb internal FRAM code memory.

The OBC has a mass of 25g and measures 67x42x7 mm. It has an average power consumption of 100 mW and supports RS485, UART, CAN, and I2C interfaces. This OBC comes uses a Spacemanic motherboard with PC/104 form factor. It is successfully vibration and heated vacuum tested.

Click here to learn about On-board Computers from various manufacturers listed on SATNow.

SPACEMANIC, a small satellite mission integrator, focused on delivering flight-proven innovative and reliable nanosatellite solutions, platforms, components, and services has introduced a new On-board computer module for CubeSats and nanosats.
