{"id":86175,"date":"2010-09-20T22:07:23","date_gmt":"2010-09-20T14:07:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/globecast-shanghai-media-group-establish-broadcast-link-in-china\/"},"modified":"2010-09-20T22:07:23","modified_gmt":"2010-09-20T14:07:23","slug":"globecast-shanghai-media-group-establish-broadcast-link-in-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/globecast-shanghai-media-group-establish-broadcast-link-in-china\/","title":{"rendered":"GlobeCast, Shanghai Media Group Establish Broadcast Link in China"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Shanghai Media Group<\/strong> and <strong>GlobeCast<\/strong>  formed a partnership to develop a fiber link in China and provide  broadcast services for international broadcasters and content producers,  the companies announced Sept. 16.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The companies said the goal of the agreement is to combine Shanghai  Media\u2019s domestic Chinese capabilities with GlobeCast\u2019s worldwide network  and to develop business with news and sports channels, rights holders,  entertainment content producers and business TV customers.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Shanghai Media will provide in-house equipment and facilities in  China, including electronic newsgathering kit and crews, satellite  newsgathering trucks and flyaways, outside broadcasting vans and tape  play-out feed-points in Shanghai and Beijing, domestic fiber links and  route switching in China and uplink and downlink transmission solutions.  The new link will be established between Shanghai\u2019s point of presence  in Shanghai and GlobeCast\u2019s point of presence in Hong Kong.
