The operator also is closing in on 3 million HD service subscribers, adding 300,000 HD customers in the fourth quarter to reach a total of 2.9 million. BSkyB added 11,000 broadband subscribers during the quarter to reach more than 2.6 million total broadband customers. <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Nick Bell, a researcher at Jefferies International, said BSkyB\u2019s 2010 results were slightly ahead of projections. \u201cKPI\u2019s were largely in-line with net adds of 90,000 on the back of very strong HD take-up.
