Astrium said the merge aims to develop its product distribution expansion in Europe.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Spot Infoterra Hellas will distribute the full range of Spot Infoterra products and services, including data provided by the Spot, Pleiades and TerraSAR-X Earth observation satellites. It will be developing additional services as part of the Global Monitoring for Environment and Security initiative with a special focus on natural disasters. It will also be offering Astrium\u2019s maritime surveillance, border patrol and national and regional planning services.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Astrium holds an 81 percent share in Spot Infoterra Hellas, with the remaining 19 percent owned by the founders of Geomet.
