{"id":87058,"date":"2010-04-28T00:10:47","date_gmt":"2010-04-27T16:10:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/ils-launches-ses-1\/"},"modified":"2010-04-28T00:10:47","modified_gmt":"2010-04-27T16:10:47","slug":"ils-launches-ses-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/ils-launches-ses-1\/","title":{"rendered":"ILS Launches SES-1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[04-27-10] <strong>International Launch Services <\/strong>(ILS) launched the SES-1 satellite into geostationary orbit for<strong> SES World Skies<\/strong>, ILS announced April 26. <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The ILS Proton Breeze M rocket launched from Baikonour Kosmodrome and released the satellite after an eight-hour, 58-minute mission, marking the third ILS Proton launch this year. <br \/>\nSES-1, built by Orbital Sciences Corp., will replace SES\u2019 AMC-2 and AMC-4 satellites at 101 degrees West over North America. The spacecraft carries 24 C-band transponders as well as 24 Ku-band transponders.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u201cSES-1 will provide uninterrupted replacement capacity for SES World Skies, providing TV programming into every cable network in America.
