NTT Ltd.<\/span>, a global IT infrastructure and services company, and <\/span>SES<\/span>, a global content connectivity service provider via satellite, have announced a multi-year partnership to use SES satellites to deliver NTT\u2019s <\/span>Edge as a Service<\/span> to enterprise customers. The collaboration will bring together NTT\u2019s expertise in networking and enterprise-managed services with SES\u2019s unique <\/span>satellite<\/span> capabilities to deliver reliable connectivity to enterprises that must meet surges in connectivity demand or are based beyond the reach of fixed terrestrial networks.<\/span><\/p>\n The unique offering combines <\/span>NTT<\/span>\u2019s fully managed Private <\/span>5G<\/span> and Edge Compute with <\/span>SES<\/span>\u2019s second-generation <\/span>medium earth orbit<\/span> communications system – <\/span>O3b mPOWER<\/span> – to provide expanded and reliable connectivity. This solution is intended for companies operating in regions where terrestrial networks are lacking and enterprises wanting to leverage high-performance connectivity to increase their efficiency and grow revenue.
