SES posted net profits in 2009 of 476.5 million euros ($654.3 million) in 2009, compared to profits of 387.5 million euros ($532.1 million) the prior year.  \t<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Revenues for 2009 were 1.7 billion euros ($2.3 billion), an increase of 4.4 percent compared to 2008. \t\u201cSES also built significantly on its profitable base, through acquisition and investments, to further develop the foundation for future growth. <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; During the year, SES contracted five additional satellites, so that there are currently 12 satellites under construction.
