DeYoung previously led ATK\u2019s Armament Systems  group as president of the company\u2019s largest business entity.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Separately, ATK said third quarter sales rose 3 percent to $1.1  billion, driven by the Armament Systems and Mission Systems groups,  which partially was offset by lower Space Systems group sales. <br \/>\nNet income in the third quarter was up 28 percent to $78 million.
