The installation is intended to provide Globalstar with the capability to globally monitor and control the orbital deployment of its new constellation. <br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In a statement, Globalstar CEO Peter Dalton said that the upgrades help strengthen the company\u2019s 2010 outlook. \u201cThese planned gateway upgrades help pave the way for the launch and management of our new satellites and all the potential associated with our next-generation constellation.
