[11-17-09] Asia Broadcast Satellite <\/b>(ABS) and Eutelsat Communications<\/b> have  partnered to co-locate Eutelsat\u2019s Eurobird 4 satellite with the ABS-1 and ABS-1A satellites at 75 degrees East orbital slot, the companies announced Nov. 16.
\n    The redeployment will inject an additional eight Ku-band transponders to 75 degrees East to address markets in the Middle East, central Asia and Russia.
\n    Eurobird 4 will be renamed “W75\/ABS-1B,” with a mission to provide possible redundancy to customers until the arrival of ABS-2, which is expected in 2012.<\/p>\n
