DARC is building a global network of advanced ground-based sensors intended to enhance space domain awareness. The program began its first phase one year ago under a trilateral agreement. With construction now complete at the Australian site, the program is advancing to the UK location.

Fisica, based in San Leandro, California, secured the contract through a competitive bid process. The company said its successful performance on the first DARC site in Australia helped reduce implementation risk and positioned it for the program’s next phase.

The work will include the design, assembly, testing, and installation of advanced radar antenna systems. Fisica described the scope as reflecting its expertise in delivering complex antenna systems for mission-critical environments. The company characterizes itself as a provider of advanced communications, radar, and sensing infrastructure supporting U.S. and allied operations worldwide.

“This award validates our team’s ability to execute highly complex programs at scale,” said Mark Rayner, President of Fisica. “We are proud to support capabilities that strengthen global security, enhance space domain awareness, and help address evolving mission requirements for the U.S. and its allies.”

Fisica said the award reinforces its role as a trusted provider of radar and sensing infrastructure for U.S. and allied operations.

The program now advances to its second site in the United Kingdom, where Fisica’s contracted work on radar antenna systems will proceed.
