Happy New Year, readers! In 2026, China’s commercial aerospace will no longer be a “concept industry”. From being listed as a strategic emerging industry at the Central Economic Work Conference in 2023 to being written into the government work report for two consecutive years in 2024 and 2025, the industry has entered a very obvious new stage. On the one hand, the frequency of launches, the number of satellites, the scale of financing, and industry participants continue to grow; on the other hand, the industry is accelerating differentiation, with different technical routes, different business models, and different organizational forms beginning to move towards completely different development paths. But a practical question is: What are the subdivisions of China’s commercial aerospace industry? In each field, which companies have real engineering capabilities and continuous delivery capabilities? So far, there is no widely recognized and systematic answer to these questions.
01
Why do we do this collection?
In the past few years, Nihao Space has continued to do three things: dismantle the commercial aerospace industry chain; sort out subdivided fields and representative companies; and reduce industry information asymmetry and communication costs through industry reports, industry chain maps, lists, and special content. In 2026, we plan to systematically launch on this basis: 1. 30 special articles on commercial aerospace subdivisions and representative companies 2. “China Commercial Aerospace Industry Chain Map (2026 Edition)” 3. “2026 China Commercial Aerospace Industry Annual Report” This time, we hope not to be limited to traditional “aerospace enterprises”, but to cover the key capability systems on which the entire commercial aerospace operation depends. In this content system, we hope to answer: In commercial aerospace, what are the subdivisions that can “run through business logic”? In each field, which companies are really doing engineering, product production, and delivery? Which directions are overrated? Which directions are underestimated? Which companies deserve to be truly seen by the industry, capital, and partners? This solicitation is not about awards or list registration. It is a basic sorting out work for the industry.
02
What does “subdivision” mean?
The “segmented areas” mentioned here are not general industry classifications, nor are they simply divided according to investment tracks, but real industrial units that meet one of the following characteristics: Have a clear technical path or product form Have clear application objects or customer groups Stable needs have been or are forming Stable needs bear independent and irreplaceable functions in the industry chain It may be a market or an engineering link, such as: a certain type of rocket or engine technology route, satellite platform or payload form, ground system, terminal or service, or key components, materials or processes and emerging applications or cross-fields. Based on previous industry analysis and research, Nihao Space has constructed a “four-layer model of the space industry”: The first layer: core manufacturing and key systems (upstream) raw materials and manufacturing processes, components and parts, components, subsystems, and testing and testing services. Second level: launch and orbit operations (midstream) rocket and launch services, satellite manufacturing and constellation construction, ground systems and measurement and operation control services, and on-orbit services. The third layer: space services and application ecology (downstream) satellite communication services, navigation and positioning services, remote sensing data and information services, industry solutions and user terminal systems. Level 4: Emerging space economy: New space infrastructure, space tourism, space manufacturing, space resource utilization, deep space exploration and lunar economy. The first three layers correspond to the current commercial aerospace industry chain system; the fourth layer focuses on new directions that may have far-reaching impacts in the future. What we ultimately hope to form is an industry structure framework that can be used within the industry, can be spoken by companies externally, and can be analyzed by researchers.

Who is suitable to participate?
We focus more on the capabilities themselves rather than the size of the company. If you meet any of the following situations, you are welcome to participate: Enterprises with commercial aerospace as their main business or important business direction; Enterprises that provide key technologies, products or system capabilities for commercial aerospace; Teams that have already entered engineering applications or have a clear path to implementation; Enterprises or teams that have entered commercial aerospace from other industries and formed actual businesses. Whether it is listed, whether it is well-known, or whether it has completed financing are not prerequisites. We focus more on: what problem you are solving, rather than how big the company is. In an industry whose structure is not yet fully clear, being placed in the wrong position is worse than not being seen. We hope to position the industry more accurately based on facts and engineering capabilities as much as possible.
04
What can you get by participating in the collection?
It should be noted: this is not a “pay to be listed” or “pay for exposure” event. The principle of Nihao Space has always been: independent content judgment, facts before propaganda. But if your company or direction enters our research and content system, you may get: Being included in the research sample of the “2026 China Commercial Aerospace Industry Annual Report”; The opportunity to be included in the industry chain map and segmented track analysis; Being mentioned as a representative company in special articles and industry reports. What’s more important is to put what you are doing into a correct industry position and make it easier to understand and identify by industry researchers, partners, upstream and downstream people.

How to participate?
Please scan the QR code below and fill in your company information to register. If it involves public quotation or specific data disclosure, we will communicate and confirm in advance and will not involve undisclosed sensitive information.
Conclusion
Commercial spaceflight is becoming complex. But complexity does not mean confusion.
It is more important for companies to clearly express their position than to simply be seen.
If you are working seriously in the industry, but feel that the industry has not had time to know you, or does not know you correctly – this solicitation may be just right for you.
