Tianwei Technology
Xiamen Tianwei Technology Co., Ltd., referred to as Tianwei Technology, was established in 2014. It is a commercial satellite company dedicated to the development and application of low-orbit remote sensing satellites and has its own frequency orbit.

At present, Tianwei Technology has successfully launched four commercial satellites: “TW-3 Huaxiangyuan” satellite: This satellite was successfully launched on August 29, 2024. It is the first customized satellite launched at sea in Fujian Province. It is used in urban ecological construction such as smart agriculture, ecological environment, and natural resources, and at the same time meets the requirements of Huaxiangyuan Enterprises for periodic observations of tea gardens. “Tianwei Technology·Agriculture” satellite: This satellite was successfully launched on June 6, 2024. It is a light and small, very high-resolution optical remote sensing satellite jointly developed by Tianwei Technology and Mumei Starry Sky. It is used in agriculture, rural areas and other fields. “Xiamen Science and Technology No. 1” satellite: The satellite was successfully launched on January 9, 2023. It is equipped with a hyperspectral payload and can collect information across the electromagnetic spectrum covering infrared to ultraviolet. “Tianwei Technology One” pilot satellite: This satellite was successfully launched on February 27, 2022. It is Xiamen’s first city-customized satellite and the first city-customized satellite in Fujian Province. It is the first time to realize the organic integration of city-customized satellites and smart cities.

Astronomical constellation
In March 2025, the 108 satellite constellation applied by Tianwei Technology successfully passed the national industry and information review and was reported to the International Telecommunications Union, and it plans to complete the launch and deployment of 108 satellites in the next 3 to 7 years. The constellation consists of panchromatic multispectral observation satellites, SAR observation satellites, hyperspectral observation satellites, etc. After network operation, it will achieve all-day, all-weather, and multi-spectral remote sensing data acquisition. In addition to constellation deployment planning, Tianwei Technology will also prepare to build satellite intelligent manufacturing factories and data processing centers in the next step to promote the development of new technologies and leading industries in the commercial aerospace field.

Overseas cases
On April 8, 2025, Tianwei Technology and Indonesian AAN Company held a cooperation memorandum of understanding signing ceremony in Xiamen. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of satellite remote sensing data applications, smart agriculture and other fields, and jointly seize the development opportunities brought by the BRICS platform.
