Belintersat-1 Satellite Delivered to Client

BEIJING, May 27 (China Space News) — The Belintersat-1 communications satellite was recently delivered to Belarus by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

On January 16, 2016, the Belintersat-1 was launched by a Long March-3B rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. It is Belarus’ first communications satellite, and it was also the first time that China had launched a satellite for a European country.

The satellite used the Dongfanghong-4 satellite platform.
