June 6th 2017, during the global space exploration conference (GLEX 2017) the administrator of China National Space Administration (CNSA) Tang Dengjie held a bilateral meeting with president of International Astronautical Federation (IAF) Jean-Yves Le Gall with the topic of further deepen Sino-French space cooperation and promote the Sino-French bathometry satellite and astronomical satellite projects. Both two agreed to extend the application of space science and technology into the research of climate change. Wu Yanhua, vice administrator of China National Space Administration, attended the meeting.
