[05-30-12] Verimatrix has appointed Geir Bjørndal to its executive team, the company announced May 29. Bjørndal will be responsible for significantly increasing the company’s market penetration and visibility with operators looking to take advantage of new generation DVB hybrid networks that include IP and over-the-top (OTT) video delivery, which is a key area of focus for Verimatrix.
Verimatrix is a provider of content security solutions to pay-TV operators and broadcasters worldwide. Bjørndal has previously played a key role in establishing Conax as one the major players in the conditional access (CA) arena in the last two decades.
