[02-25-11] Media content protection and value-added service technology firm Kudelski Group reported a 7.6 percent increase in total revenues and operating income for its 2010 full-year fiscal period, driven by strong organic growth from its digital TV division, the group announced Feb. 24.
Kudelski’s digital TV business posted sales growth of 6.8 percent, which helped offset weaker growth rates in the group’s middleware, advertising and public access segments. Overall, the group generated $72 million net income for the year, an improvement of $16.8 million from the previous year.
Kudelski management said the group’s digital TV segment is focused on strengthening its presence in emerging markets and has set up a sales unit to target these markets with customized offers.
