[11-02-10] Globecomm has received a $3.8 million contract from an unnamed media and entertainment company to design and install antenna diversity switching systems for the customer, Globecomm announced Nov. 1.
The antenna switching systems will work to enhance direct-to-home service availability. In addition, Globecomm will refurbish the customer’s existing antennas and provide its network management software product, AxxSys Orion with associated engineering support services.
While details of the customer were not revealed, a Globecomm Vice President of the Asia Pacific region, Dov Cydulkin, issued a statement on the contract. “Our innovative solutions and commitment continue to prove advantageous to our existing customers.”
