Advantech Wireless Wins Satcom Orders in Latin America

[03-14-11] Canadian satellite systems manufacturer Advantech Wireless received satellite communication product sales orders from telecom and broadband providers in Brazil and Mexico, the company announced March 11.
    Advantech will provide AMT 75 modems and redundant switches, SCPC and DVB-RCS VSAT solutions, which will provide support to thousands of terminals.
    “Customers are looking for the best technology in bandwidth utilization and reliability. That is why Advantech Wireless is rapidly expanding its market share in regions like Latin America, where many telecommunications service providers want to realize substantial savings though more efficiently optimized networks,” the company said in a statement.
