[Via Satellite 03-09-2016] Al Jazeera Media Network (AJMN) has selected Arqiva, the communications infrastructure and media services company, to provide its global teleport and satellite distribution services, with work having commenced in February of this year.
Over the course of a long-term agreement, Arqiva will distribute AJMN’s flagship news channels Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera English to popular global networks. The new agreement will allow Al Jazeera to increase its bit rate and video quality for a better viewing experience for international viewers.
