BEIJING, March 31 (China Space News) — China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) established a multifaceted partnership Wednesday with the State Oceanic Administration (SOA) by signing a strategic cooperation framework agreement.
CASC and the SOA will conduct multi-tier cooperation in various areas, including marine satellite engineering, marine communication and information systems and marine observation systems, according to the agreement signed in Beijing.
CASC will continue to strengthen its partnership with the SOA and make space technologies better serve China’s marine programs, said Ma Xingrui, president of CASC.
The Ocean Remote Sensing Engineering Research Center was appropriately unveiled at the signing ceremony as the two parties jointly built it.
