BEIJING, May. 20 (China Space News) — China Centre for Resources Satellite Data and Application (CRESDA) under China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation signed a contract on May 6 to provide a Data Sharing Service Platform to the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO).
It marks the first time that CRESDA has participated in an international bidding, and gaining the contract is expected to pave the way for the technology to enter the international market.
According to the contract, CRESDA will collect, process and store remote sensing satellite metadata from APSCO’s member states, while also offering search and query services to member states.
