[04-02-10] Inmarsat has named aeronautical satellite provider Arinc a SwiftBroadband service distribution partner, Arinc announced March 31.
As a distribution partner, Arinc can now purchase airtime directly from Inmarsat instead of through intermediate providers. Arinc offers its aircraft applications based on Inmarsat services such as Aero-L, Aero-H/H+, Aero-I, Swift 64 and SwiftBroadband.
“Arinc plans to provide SwiftBroadband connectivity in a one-stop transaction. Our customers will not need to source a communications pipe separately, as it will be part of a package with flight applications, connectivity software, and technical support,” Arinc Aviation Solutions Director Andy Hubbard said in a statement.
