This list is not simply sorted by financing amount, valuation or single popularity, but a comprehensive evaluation based on the four core capabilities of satellite manufacturing companies:

First, batch delivery capability

Whether it truly has the capabilities of mass production, AIT integration, and constellation-level delivery of entire satellites, rather than staying at the single-satellite prototype stage.

Reasons for being on the list

First place: Changguang Satellite

Reasons for being on the list: Changguang Satellite is one of the most mature and complete leading companies in the field of commercial satellites in China. It is also one of the few commercial aerospace companies that has simultaneously opened up the entire chain of “payload research and development – whole satellite manufacturing – constellation operation – data services”.

On the whole-satellite manufacturing side, Changguang Satellite will manufacture a total of 22 satellites in 2025, including 16 Yunyao Aerospace networking satellites and 2 satellite Internet technology verification satellites. It is one of the important whole-satellite suppliers in the construction of my country’s satellite Internet constellation. At the same time, Changguang satellite has made breakthroughs in core technologies such as optical remote sensing cameras, laser communication terminals, on-board computing power, and satellite batch automation. It has a very deep moat in the fields of remote sensing and whole-satellite integration.

Second place: Galaxy Aerospace

‌1. Satellite manufacturing is moving towards mass industrial production.
