On May 21, 2025, the second commercial aerospace project financing roadshow hosted by “Nihao Space” and Luduan Think Tank (China Aerospace Industry Think Tank) was successfully held online. This event focuses on the aerospace technology industrialization track, selects 5 high-growth commercial aerospace companies, and invites more than 100 investment institutions to participate in the docking with local government investment departments. It is worth mentioning that this event also attracted the attention of CCTV Financial Channel, and reporters were present to film the entire event, which fully reflected the growing industry influence and social attention of commercial aerospace financing roadshow activities. This roadshow project covers five major fields: SAR satellites, laser communications, microelectronics packaging, aerospace cable network components, and high-end equipment design and simulation. The five participating companies have achieved technological breakthroughs in their respective fields and demonstrated clear commercialization progress and market potential.
Roadshow project introduction
1. Zhixing Space|Southern Headquarters Landing Project
Reporter: Liu Likun, founder of Zhixing Space
It has the ability to design “satellite-based integrated” radar satellites. The first self-designed radar satellite has been stably operating in orbit. It has the entire chain capability from satellite design to remote sensing data delivery, and continues to obtain orders.
2. Biyi Laser | Laser communication product expansion project
Reporter: Zhang Yan, co-founder of Biyi Laser
A core supplier of spaceborne laser communication payloads, the core team comes from the “Ocean 2” design team.
3. Assisted in microelectronics|Microelectronics packaging expansion project
Reporter: Deng Binguo, founder of Fucheng Microelectronics
It has complete advanced packaging capabilities in the entire process from devices, components/components to subsystems/systems. It currently has 100+ customers, including military industry institutes, listed companies, etc., and is committed to becoming “TSMC” in the field of micro-assembly.
4. Qingdao Beichen Digital | Aerospace Cable Network Component Production Line Construction Project
Reporter: Man Haifeng, founder of Qingdao Beichen Digital Intelligence
It has the only domestically produced CSED system in China and has extensively participated in the digital design of key national models, assisting in the design of cables, pipelines and structures for launch vehicles, spacecraft, satellites, and other equipment.
5. Weidi Aerospace|A new generation of AI+ high-end equipment design and simulation platform that transcends Matlab
Reporter: Li Jiafeng, founder of Weidi Aerospace
Relying on independent and controllable technology, we develop design simulation software suitable for engineering applications, provide professional tools in multiple fields, and create a one-stop collaborative design, simulation and application platform for high-end equipment that deeply integrates digitalization and intelligence and integrates the characteristics of MATLAB+STK+AFSIM.
During the interactive session of the project, several investment institutions such as Yuanhang Capital, Weights and Measures Capital, and Chenfeng Cornerstone conducted in-depth questions around the project’s technical route, commercialization path, and product implementation capabilities. The topics focused on key details such as constellation planning, satellite backhaul delay, laser communication power consumption control, and localization of microelectronic packaging, further deepening the understanding and evaluation of the project. Overall, this interaction reflects the capital side’s triple screening criteria for commercial aerospace companies in terms of “technological hardness, productization capabilities and industrial synergy potential”. It also releases a signal that the three parties of “local + capital + enterprise” are accelerating the formation of deep linkage in the aerospace industry chain. Wang Long, founder of “Nihao Space”, said: “We do not do traffic-based activities. Instead, we use closed-door orientation, professional screening, and in-depth interaction to truly help companies connect with resources that are ‘understandable and investment-worthy.’ After the second phase of the roadshow, many investment institutions and project parties have reached initial intentions.” Preparations for the third phase of the roadshow have been officially launched, and aerospace companies with leading technologies, clear models, and financing needs are welcome to join.
