Jiuzhou Cloud Arrow (Beijing) Space Technology Co., Ltd. is a commercial aerospace enterprise integrating liquid power system design and development, assembly testing, and supporting flight full-process services. The company’s business model mainly includes: one-time sales of liquid rocket engines or launch service fees for reusable engines (including the 10-ton “Lingyun” and 80-ton “Longyun” engines); external testing services at the hot test base (a self-built test bed in Bengbu, Anhui, which can provide testing services for engines over 100 tons) and the civilian transformation of liquid rocket engine technology (including the substitution of imported products such as high-speed pumps, low-temperature and high-pressure valves and combustion devices).

Ji Fenglai: Graduated with a master’s degree from the First Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology. He has worked in the First and Sixth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group for more than 10 years. He has been engaged in liquid rocket engine turbine pump design for five years and participated in the development of YF-75 and YF-75D.

Intelligent manufacturing base: Located in Bengbu City, Anhui Province, it has a general assembly and testing center and an intelligent manufacturing center. 4. Product Type Spectrum

The technical basis for liquid rocket recovery and reuse is: engine reusability, multiple starts, and depth variable thrust. Jiuzhou Yunjian currently has two engine products, namely the 10t-level “Lingyun” liquid oxygen methane engine and the 80t-level “Longyun” liquid oxygen methane engine.

(1) “Lingyun” liquid oxygen methane engine “Lingyun” liquid oxygen methane engine is the first domestic liquid engine product with multiple starts, depth variable thrust capabilities, and support for rocket recovery and reuse. It mainly serves the ground stage of small liquid rockets and the upper stages of medium-sized liquid rockets.

At present, the cumulative hot test time of the “Lingyun” engine has exceeded 10,000 seconds. Breakthrough technology: The main and auxiliary dual-circuit fire torque electric ignition starter is used to achieve multiple starts; the pump-type liquid rocket engine depth thrust adjustment technology is used to realize variable depth thrust adjustment; the full nitrogen use and maintenance technology is used, which is different from the traditional helium mode, effectively reducing the use and maintenance costs of the engine. (2) “Longyun” liquid oxygen methane engine “Longyun” liquid oxygen methane engine is the first multiple-start, recyclable, high-thrust liquid rocket engine launched by Jiuzhou Yunjian. It can be used as the first-stage main thrust engine of medium and large liquid launch vehicles. The parallel connection of 5 machines is used for 3.35m diameter rockets, the parallel connection of 7 machines is used for 3.8m diameter rockets, and the parallel connection of 9 machines is used for 4.2m diameter rockets. At present, the “Longyun” engine has completed 7,000s of hot test runs.

5. Financing situation

In early 2018, it completed an angel round of financing of nearly 20 million yuan. The main investors include Shanghai Fengrui, Shenzhen Runhong, and Asia Yaolong.

In January 2021, it completed a Series A financing of over 100 million yuan, led by Beijing Zhongguancun Development Qihang Innovation Investment Fund, followed by Yunhe Capital, Zhongguancun Development Group Golden Seed Fund, and Ori Capital.
