Eutelsat Signs Maritime Connectivity Agreement With Tototheo Global

Eutelsat has signed a new agreement with Cyprus-based connectivity provider Tototheo Global to expand the availability of its low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite services across maritime, enterprise and government markets.

Under the partnership, Tototheo Global will deliver Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO connectivity services to maritime customers worldwide and support enterprise, civil government and military connectivity requirements in Greece and Cyprus.

The companies announced the agreement on June 4.

Focus on Maritime and Mission-Critical Connectivity

Tototheo Global provides connectivity and technology services to organizations operating in sectors where reliable communications are essential, including maritime, enterprise and government markets.

The company said the agreement is intended to strengthen its connectivity portfolio and support customers requiring resilient communications for mission-critical operations.

The partnership expands Tototheo Global’s access to LEO satellite services, which are increasingly being adopted by maritime operators seeking lower-latency connectivity compared with traditional geostationary satellite systems.

Expanding OneWeb Distribution

Through the agreement, Eutelsat will broaden the reach of its OneWeb satellite network while strengthening its position in the maritime communications sector.

The deal also provides Tototheo Global with an additional LEO connectivity offering alongside its existing satellite service portfolio.

The company is already a reseller of Starlink services, giving customers access to multiple low-Earth orbit network options depending on operational requirements and coverage needs.

Supporting Connectivity Demands

Demand for high-performance satellite connectivity continues to grow across maritime, government and enterprise sectors as organizations seek reliable communications for operational, safety and data-intensive applications.

LEO satellite constellations have emerged as a key technology in this market due to their ability to provide lower latency and broader connectivity options for users operating in remote locations.

“At Tototheo Global we are committed to delivering connectivity solutions that provide performance, flexibility, and resilience for our customers,” said Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou, co-chief executive officer of Tototheo Global.

“Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO services strengthen our ability to offer secure, low-latency connectivity, providing a critical capability for customers operating across the demanding maritime, enterprise, and government sectors.”

The agreement reflects ongoing competition among satellite operators and service providers as demand increases for next-generation connectivity solutions in maritime and other mission-critical industries.
