China Launches Shijian-16-02 Satellite

BEIJING, July 1 (China Space News) —  China launched the Shijian-16-02 satellite on Wednesday.

The satellite was carried by a Long March-4B rocket and took off at 11:21 a.m. from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.

Wednesday’s was the 231st by a Long March rocket.

The rocket and the satellite were both developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
