Starlink, a subsidiary of SpaceX has begun providing satellite internet services in Kazakhstan, the country’s Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Ministry said.
“Starting August 13, 2025, Starlink officially begins providing satellite internet services in Kazakhstan. This will enable residents of the country to access high-speed and reliable internet through Starlink’s low-orbit satellite network, owned by SpaceX,” the ministry’s press service said.
“Over a year, we conducted negotiations to align the positions of Starlink, government agencies and regulators. Today, Starlink has added Kazakhstan to its official coverage map,” Digital Development Minister Zhaslan Madiyev said on social media.
On June 12, the ministry and Starlink signed an agreement securing the company’s commitment to comply with the country’s legislation when providing services.
